I started the job at Alara in 2015.
The reason I applied for this job was the interest in organic foods and a natural and healthy lifestyle.
I started as a deli bar assistant, after couple of months I started to work in the shop floor as a shop assistant.In 2016 I was promoted as the buyer for Supplements and Beauty department. In 2017 I was promoted as a Manager Assistant and today I can happily say that I’m the General Manager.
I’m originally from Romania and my background is in physiotherapy.
No day is typical at Alara.There are always lots of various things to do,from upholding store standards to growing the business. The team at Alara operates as a family, friendly but hard working and very dedicated.
Our culture at Alara if I could describe it in one word is caring. We really care about our customers and we are trying to share every day our knowledge for their benefits and wellbeing.
Since I’m working at Alara I developed my people management and customer service skills.
The most I like about the job is interaction with the team and the customers.
Alara is so much different from the other companies, by having a family atmosphere and by having genuine caring for the staff and the customers.
